Notes:

• the production runs several times to take into account delays in the collection of observations
• RR depends on TG
• TN and TX are checked such that TX is always greater than TN

Additional tasks

• each day, at 01:00 UTC, files older than 90 days are removed from the daily updates on thredds
• each day, at 12:00 UTC and 23:00 UTC, the daily files for the current year are appended to the annual file in the Archive
• If necessary, operational production may be rerun at irregular times throughout the day to eliminate any erroneous observations that might affect the spatial analysis.
