Fixes

  • Quick start works out of the box — no manual setup required before first docker compose up
  • mosquitto.conf: anonymous access enabled for local testing (was: allow_anonymous false without a passwd file, causing broker to reject all connections)
  • docker-compose.example.yml: passwd volume mount is now optional, SETUP section rewritten
  • test-join-protocol.py: added --username / --password flags for brokers with auth enabled

What's in this release

First public release of the MQTT Multi-Agent Framework for Claude Code.

Features

  • MCP server (Go) bridging Claude Code to MQTT — mqtt_publish, mqtt_query, mqtt_request, mqtt_who, mqtt_status
  • Topic schema and payload spec for interoperable agent implementations
  • TLS support (mqtts://) with CA file configuration
  • Topic ACLs and allowedPublishPrefixes for broker hardening
  • Push mode (real-time via --dangerously-load-development-channels) and Poll mode (stable, no flag required)
  • End-to-end test scripts: 2-agent join protocol, 3-agent team protocol
  • Minimal Python agent example

Limitations

  • Hub-and-spoke topology (all messages via broker)
  • Push mode requires an experimental Claude Code flag
