  • Finding: A detector result bound to a subject and source run.
  • Observation: Timestamped evidence collected through a declared method.
  • Evidence package: Immutable run artifacts plus checksums and manifest.
  • Eligible: A captured prerequisite is satisfied; no outcome is guaranteed.
  • Observed: The stated event was captured under the recorded conditions.
  • Not evidenced: Required evidence was unavailable; this is not proof of absence.
  • Accepted exception: Enforcement disposition that leaves technical failure intact.
  • Projection: A report, annotation, or dashboard view of canonical artifacts.
