Highlights

  • Separates required project/purpose organization from optional search-metadata enhancement.
  • Adds editable project templates, context-preserving batch management, and project-category controls in asset preview.
  • Redesigns material management with clearer information layers, fixed pagination, continuous cross-page preview, and independently expandable filter domains.
  • Replaces the legacy SREF entry with a native inspiration-card library for cases, recipes, and knowledge.
  • Makes Desktop intake copy-first by default, with explicit move mode, exact-content repeat protection, and clear relinking warnings.

Safety

Material Workbench remains local-first and Agent-assisted rather than Agent-dependent. This release contains no runtime library indexes, user metadata, Adobe dependency ledger, transaction journal, machine-local configuration, or private media.

Validation

  • Windows CI: Python 3.11 and 3.13
  • Public test suite: 551 Python tests
  • Adobe bridge contract: 10 Node tests
  • JavaScript syntax and synthetic first-run smoke: passed
