How to install offline pronunciation in Laitis

Sergey Mikolaytis edited this page Jan 14, 2018 · 1 revision

Laitis supports a variety of voice pronunciation services, but sometimes it's easier for a user to install an offline pronunciation engine on his computer.

  1. Find on the Internet and download one of the popular voice pronunciation engines (I can not provide download links, but I'll tell you that you can download them on rutracker): Ivona Nuance voice, Marina Nuance voice and others

  2. Install the voice on your computer.

  3. In the Laitis settings, select the Windows recognition service and in the drop-down list that appears, select the voice that you installed.

That's all. After completing these three points, Laitis will pronounce the voice using the offline engine that you installed. You can install several engines and choose one that you like.
