Why Laitis does not use PocketSphinx

Why Laitis does not use PocketSphinx - openSource offline voice recognition:

  1. Poor recognition quality.
  2. The base of one language occupies +-600mb of disk space. Want 3 languages - give 3 gigs of disk space, wait until everything is downloaded from the server and unzipped (above 20 minutes).
  3. Starting the recognition engine lasts ~ 10 seconds on a very powerful PC.
  4. Detection lags for a second, not stable.
  5. Libraries are written in C, which makes integration difficult.
  6. The engine eats up to 700 MB of RAM and up to 100% of the processor time of one processor core.

This concerns the work of PocketSphinx on win32. On linux, judging by the video on youtube, there are no problems from the list.

As a developer, I'm not ready to go into this.
