Vanilla Drinks

The 2 current drinks options for vanilla are Terracotta Bowls and Water Bottles (which can now be stacked up to 16).

If the player doesn't yet have access to a furnace, they can dig some clay from a river, use it for a clay bowl, which can then be fired and turned into a terracotta bowl, usable as a water container. The wooden bowl isn't usable since it would burn if placed in a campfire or a furnace.

AppleSkin

If AppleSkin is installed, a tooltip showing an item's hydration and "quenchness" value will show up in the inventory.

Farmer's Delight & Addons

Currently all the drinks added by the mods Farmer's Delight, Farmer's Respite and Brewin' and Chewin' can be used to quench one's thirst. In fact, teas or booze are the best drink options for late game. Teas also include Create's beloved Builder's Tea

Loot chests

Certain drinks from the mods mentioned above can also be found as loot in various structures, along with Purified Water Bottles:

  • Mead, Salty Folly and Black Tea can be found in Shipwrecks
  • Beer, Apple Cider and Yellow Tea in Abandoned Mineshafts
  • Vodka, Yellow Tea and Dandelion Tea in Dungeons
  • Red Rum, Strongroot Ale and Rose Hip Tea in Nether Fortresses and Bastions

Below is a collection of all the items that can quench one's thirst:

Keep in mind that although these are the default items, new items can be added via the Config.
