v1.2.0 - runs on more phones
Graphics drivers per phone
- New Graphics driver button in the launcher: Automatic / Phone's own / Turnip / Turnip 8xx.
- Automatic: Mesa Turnip on Adreno 6xx/7xx, the new Turnip for Adreno 8xx (Snapdragon 8 Elite,
experimental) on Adreno 8xx - fixes the blue haze / flickering textures of the stock driver - and
the phone's own driver on Mali / PowerVR / Xclipse. - The game checks a driver before using it and falls back to the phone's driver at once if it does
not find your GPU (no more two failed launches). The launcher shows which driver was used.
More phones can start the game
- Mali and PowerVR GPUs (Exynos, MediaTek, Google Tensor) were refused at startup; the renderer's
fallback paths for GPUs without geometry shaders are now on. Untested - please send device reports.
Performance and heat
- CPU core placement now reads each core's real strength from the phone: on chips like the
Snapdragon 8 Elite the game no longer piles its busiest threads onto one core, and at 60 fps it
stays off the hottest prime cores. - Default resolution by device: 100 % on handhelds with a fan, 85 % on Adreno 7xx/8xx phones, 75 %
on other phones (your own choice is kept). - The launcher warns when Power saving / Battery saver is on or the phone is overheating.
Raging Blast 2
- New Resolution option (the game renders at 1280x720; 85 % = 1088x608 ...), real this time.
- Frame rate: 60 only (the game runs its logic per frame - a 30 fps cap made the whole game play at
half speed). - Launcher locked to landscape; Licenses button with third-party notices.
Tony Hawk's Project 8
- Same driver, core placement and default-resolution changes; launcher locked to landscape;
Licenses button.
Tested: AYN Thor (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2), Galaxy S25 Ultra (Snapdragon 8 Elite). Other devices: please
open a Device report issue. You still need your own legally obtained copy of the game.
