v0.8.2
[0.8.2] - 2026-09-08
Added
--versionflag (and-Vshort form) printing the crate version.- Help text for the
--themeand--intervalflags.
Changed
- Linux GPU panel now shows the real model name (resolved from the system
pci.idsdatabase, e.g.AMD HawkPoint2) instead of a genericAMD/
Intellabel, falling back to the vendor name when the model is unknown.
v0.8.1
[0.8.1] - 2026-08-25
Added
- Sort key and direction are now exposed in the settings menu (in addition to
thec/m/p/nkeys and the config file). - Prebuilt Linux binaries for
x86_64(glibc and musl) published with each
release. - Linux CI job (clippy, test, and musl target check).
v0.8.0
[0.8.0] - 2026-08-25
Added
- Linux GPU support (NVIDIA via NVML, AMD and Intel via the DRM sysfs
interface) and Linux fan speed via the hwmon sysfs interface. - Battery cycle count and health percentage in the sensors panel (where the
platform exposes them).
Changed
- GPU panel title shows the vendor name (Apple, AMD/Intel, NVIDIA, …) instead
of a generic "GPU". - Removed unused snapshot fields and marked test-only ring-buffer helpers as
#[cfg(test)]. - macOS-only dependencies (
core-foundation,smc-lib) are now target-gated
so the crate builds on Linux and Windows.
v0.7.0
[0.7.0] - 2026-08-25
Added
- Multi-signal kill menu (
k) to terminate the selected process with
SIGTERM, SIGKILL, or SIGINT. - Per-interface network detail popup (
i) listing each interface with its
download and upload rates. - Freeze / pause (
space) to hold the dashboard at the current snapshot;
press again to resume with fresh data. - New built-in themes: Dracula, Nord, and GitHub Dark (in addition to the four
Catppuccin flavors). - Settings toggle to show or hide the Active/History chart labels in the CPU,
memory, and GPU panels (default on). - Process details popup now shows the full command line (wrapped, truncated to
three lines with an ellipsis for longer commands).
Changed
- Sort key and direction (set with
c/m/p/n) now persist across sessions. - Disk table gained READ and WRITE I/O columns.
- Refresh interval is clamped to a 50 ms floor on load (protects against a
busy-loop from a zero or negative interval). - Reduced per-tick allocation: the process list is rendered from indices
(no full-list clone) and filtering is allocation-free. - Disk panel now uses a table layout (mount, size, used, free) with the used
value colored by fullness, instead of a bar with an inlaid percentage. - Disk and sensors panels now share the row evenly (50/50) instead of 1:2.
v0.6.0
[0.6.0] - 2026-08-25
Added
- Process filter feedback (and full keybinding list) in the full-screen
process view footer, so filtering works there with visible feedback.
Changed
- Reduce idle CPU usage: only redraw the terminal when new data arrives or the
user acts, instead of every poll tick. - Cache user accounts and throttle slow-changing reads (temperature sensors,
GPU, fans, battery) to roughly every 2 seconds instead of every sample. - Cache per-process CPU time / thread counts (macOS
proc_pidinfo) across
samples and refresh them at the throttled cadence, cutting the number of
per-process syscalls.
