Music Player Tab

  • #1740: Much more complete Apple Music integration. There's a new Apple Music tab in Preferences (with a live preview, a filter, and a Type mapping), Smart Playlists are imported, Apple Music titles are used everywhere, tracks whose file isn't on this Mac are skipped, embedded lyrics from .m4a files are shown as a cuesheet, and there's a new column-visibility menu for the song table.
  • #1751: Apple Music playlists are now grouped under their own top-level item in the playlist tree, instead of being mixed in with your own playlists.
  • #1750: Songs that appear on more than one Apple Music playlist are now de-duped in the song table.
  • #1746: The song table can now show Artist, Rating, and Date Added, from Apple Music.
  • #1747: An Apple Music track's Label and Label Number are now read from its metadata.
  • #1745: Apple Music's Last Played date is now synced into the Age and Recent columns.
  • #1753: The Duration column is now filled in for songs in the Music Directory, too, and it's sortable.
  • #1744: The song table now remembers each column's width across restarts, and the leftover width goes to the Title column.
  • #1740: Added a column-visibility button and menu to the song table, including a "Reset column visibility" item.
  • #1714: The playlist # column can now optionally show tip numbers.

Cuesheet Tab

  • #1724: Auto-scroll is now a per-cuesheet setting, with the global default moved to Preferences.
  • #1725: There's a new Cuesheet > Font > Reset Cuesheet Font Size menu item, to put a cuesheet's relative font size offset back to zero.
  • #1706: Removed the extra whitespace at the top of 2-column cuesheets.

SD Tab

  • #1713: SD has been updated to version 39.84, and Mainstream/Plus are now mapped to mainstream26/plus26.

Taminations Tab

  • #1712: Taminations has been updated to 1.6.110 (build 280).

Bugs Fixed

  • #1760: You can now Calculate Section Info for patter that comes from Apple Music.
  • #1757: An Apple Music song no longer loads at the wrong tempo (a stale decode can no longer set up the wrong song's tempo).
  • #1758: Song names are no longer mangled -- the extension is stripped instead of the front of the name.
  • #1744: Most of the song table's column dividers can now be dragged.
  • #1741: Fixed the inconsistent, out-of-date window title.
  • #1739: The app no longer disappears when the focused Global FX window is closed.
  • #1719: Fixed rescan-on-preference-change not showing new songs, and the stuck status message. There are also now phase-based progress dots while the
    Music Directory is being scanned.
  • #1718: Removed references to missing font families in the SVG graphics, which gets rid of the font warnings.
  • #1716: Fixed cuesheet font sizes going weird while editing (until SAVE), and styled cuesheet text getting bigger at SAVE time.

  • #1734: All copyright dates have been updated to 2026, and the license headers normalized.
  • #1759: Got rid of a bunch of SD warnings for uninitialized variables.

Known Bugs

  • Can't cut/paste from/to Taminations yet (this turns out to be a Hard Problem to solve...)
  • There's still a bug if you make a playlist change when it is NOT also showing in the songTable right now. When you click on the TreeWidget to view that now-modified playlist it will show the old version until you make a change to that playlist again while it's being viewed.
  • We don't know how to get out of 2-couple mode in SD quite yet. (!)
