MacRAR 1.4.2

Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple: open the DMG, drag MacRAR to Applications, done.

New icon

  • A new icon — a 3D stack of archive layers — replaces the old one with the "RAR" wordmark ("RAR" is a trademark of RARLAB).

Includes everything from 1.4.1: extracted files inherit the downloaded archive's quarantine flag (#1).

Requirements: macOS 13+ (Apple Silicon and Intel). Creating RAR archives needs RARLAB's RAR for macOS (paid, 40-day trial); everything else is free.

Also on the Mac App Store as Easy Mac Archiver.
