ContextPaste v0.3.1 — Learned Patterns + UX Fixes
ContextPaste v0.3.1
New: Learned Paste Patterns
Every time you manually paste (Ctrl+Shift+V → select → Enter), ContextPaste now records:
- What you pasted (content type: URL, Credential, JSON, etc.)
- Where you pasted it (app name, window title)
- What the screen showed (the prompt/label text)
These learned patterns appear in Settings > Auto-Paste > Learned Patterns where you can:
- See frequency counts ("Used 5 times")
- See captured context ("GitHub Personal Access Token")
- Click "Make Rule" to auto-create a paste rule from the pattern
- Delete patterns you don't want
UX Fixes
- Ctrl+Shift+V no longer hangs — overlay shows instantly (removed blocking PowerShell from hotkey thread)
- Arrow key navigation works — search input now properly releases focus for ↑↓ navigation
- Selection highlight visible — blue ring border on selected item instead of barely-visible tint
- Shortcut events properly wired — overlay auto-opens on Ctrl+Shift+V
How Learned Patterns Work
Step 1: Copy a GitHub token
Step 2: Press Ctrl+Shift+V in Terminal → select token → Enter
Step 3: System records: "Credential → Terminal (Context: GitHub Access Token)"
Step 4: After a few uses, it appears in Settings > Learned Patterns
Step 5: Click "Make Rule" → auto-paste rule created!
Step 6: Next time Terminal asks for a token → auto-pastes!
