The build is written as small named steps, one join per edition, and every build now writes results/BUILD_REPORT.md: what happened to the data, in order, with that run's numbers, for a human reviewer. docs/HOW_IT_IS_BUILT.md explains the six judgements the pipeline makes on one page. The Dagster graph stays at five things: the sources and four tables.

The population reconstruction diagnostic, the band formulae and the PHS-versus-government divergence fingerprints are removed: the sources are trusted for their values. The one cross-source check left is that both publishers list the same data zones with the same ranks.

The table's rows are unchanged since v1.0; only the embedded decision log differs.

Split postcodes now resolve to the A part by default, following NRS's convention in the Scottish Statistics Postcode Lookup, so lookups reconcile with official statistics. split="report" keeps the previous behaviour. Python and SQL are tested to agree under both rules. Adds docs/NRS_GUIDANCE_CHECK.md.

The table itself is not attached: it derives from the NRS postcode index, whose redistribution terms are still to be confirmed. Anyone can reproduce it exactly with docker compose run --rm build; the manifest and data dictionary attached here record what that build must produce.
