Overview
This is the initial alpha release of the Spellforce Spell Framework (SFSF). The SFSF is a project designed to assist developers in creating new spell types for the game Spellforce 1. With this release, users can register new spell types and overwrite existing ones, although full customization of spell logic is not yet supported.
Key Features
- Ability to create new spell types.
- Option to overwrite existing spell types.
- Provides a framework for spell type registration.
Important Notes
- Limited Functionality: This release only supports the creation of new spell types. Full customization of spell logic is not yet implemented.
- Testing Status: Very little has been conducted, We've ensured that the basic starting spells are functional, but we've not tested everything.
- Spell Type Handlers: As the framework overwrites the vanilla game's handling of spell types, there is a possibility that some spell type handlers (over 200 in total) may be missed or incorrectly formatted.
- Bug Reports: Your feedback and bug reports are highly appreciated to improve the framework. Please submit any issues or bugs through the issue tracker on GitHub.
