Kroma Ecosystem 2.7.1 keeps the desktop app's Store always current and lets the app update itself.
What's new
- Live Store: stickers, animations, Lottie files, design elements and Slides templates now load from kromaecosystem.tech, so new items appear in the app as soon as they're published, without a new app version. Offline, the app uses the copy it was installed with.
- In-app updates:
- Windows and Linux (AppImage, .deb, .rpm): new versions download in the background and install with one click on "Restart to update". Each download is checked against its SHA-512 before it installs.
- macOS, Snap and Flatpak: the app tells you when a new version is out, and one click downloads it.
- Linux: AppImage, .deb, .rpm, Snap and Flatpak packages, each installed and opened on a clean machine before it's attached here.

SHA-256 checksums are shown next to each file below, and on the download page at kromaecosystem.tech.
Install
- Mac: open the DMG and drag Kroma Ecosystem into Applications. It isn't notarized yet: open it once, then click "Open Anyway" in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Windows: run the setup. It isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC": click "More info", then "Run anyway".
