Polyptych is free, with no ads and no tracking. It needs at least two devices to do anything — one screen is one screen — so this page is meant to be handed round: in the app, Get it on another device shows a code that leads straight here.

Not yet. The Android app is being built and is not on Google Play, so there is nothing to scan here and nothing to install.
When it arrives it will join a room rather than host one: hosting means measuring every screen, working out the arrangement and being the clock the others trust, and that stays on the device holding the pictures. It will also have to ask you for the screen size and the width of the border around it, because Android does not reliably report either — see Support for what that means for the seams.
One device hosts the room and the others join it by scanning a code. Everything travels directly between them over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so no internet connection is needed once the app is installed — see the Privacy Policy.
Two devices are enough. Five is better.
