The Bill of materials will be split into multiple sections for if and when I make additional models, I.e., WeeKey 12K etc...

The bill of materials here makes a few assumptions, that you already have many of the typical consumables like solder, flux etc...

WeeKey 9K materials

Item Description Qty Unit price Total Link Notes
Raspberry Pi Pico MCU 1 £3.80 £3.80 Buy you do not need to use the pi pico, you could use a pico 2 or teensy but it was what I had lying around and is very inexpensive
9 Cherry profile key switches Key switches 9 £3.15 £28.35 Buy you can use any cherry style key switches, hot swap or not. I don't know how reputable mechboards are but serve as an example for what you can use.
Micro USB B cable power cable 1 £3.98 £3.98 Buy Again any micro b cable can be used, if you have one lying around then all the better. (Adjust depending on the input port on your chosen MCU if you do not use a Pico)
3D Printing filament Roughly 60-70g is needed 1 £13.29 £13.29 Buy You don't need to use sunlu or black or even PLA, though I used this exact filament. Dealer choice
Solid core 22AWG wire Wire 1 £2.80 £2.80 Buy I couldn't get stranded core of the same gauge to take to the switch pins, you may have better luck but I'd recommend solid core
M3x6 machine screws I've tested M3x6 up to M3x14 and they fit 1 £4.99 £4.99 Buy As stated, I modelled a large void where you'll be screwing into, so long as they're M3 you should be able to manage at least M3x6-14 and maybe some leeway under and over though not guaranteed
Kapton/Polyimide tape OPTIONAL 1 £4.49 £4.49 Buy Used to help protect some of the PLA during soldering but entire optional, better safe than sorry and I had some lying around
