In the previous step, you should've downloaded the latest firmware and control software, if not, download it here
-
Once unpacked you should find an exe called
WeeKey Control, you can move that directory anywhere you like, but when ready double click the exe to run it and you should see it in your hidden apps tray like so:
- Currently, it will not do anything but right clicking with reveal a sub menu that shows the following options:
- Those settings do the following:
- Show notifications is mostly used for debugging but allows you to see what action is run when pressing a key or viewing error messages when something goes wrong
- Open config will open the configuration yml file in your OS' default yml editor. For specifics on what you can do and how to do it, you can read the instructions within the yml file.
- Exit will close the program.
-
If you think the control software is missing a preset you would like, open an issue in the issue's tab with the
new action presetlabel. -
Of course you're not just limited to what exists in the control program. You can place a
#at the beginning of the line of sayF13and assign it to mute or deafen in discord.
