nativelite-agsess v0.2.3
default_root() honors CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR: the projects root is $CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR/projects when set, else ~/.claude/projects. Exposed as projects_root(config_dir, home).
nativelite-agsess v0.2.2
local agent session state, read from coding-agent transcripts
World::refreshis about 4x cheaper on a large history. On a real Claude Code root with 439 transcripts (Windows, release build, a one-off timing probe), a refresh took ~135 ms before and ~30–40 ms after. The discovery walk takes each entry's type from the directory listing instead of stat'ing it again (symlinks still follow their target). Known transcripts are looked up in a set instead of a scan per path. One metadata call per session both drops a vanished transcript and feeds its tail. What a refresh reports is unchanged.
See the CHANGELOG.

Zero third-party dependencies: the Rust standard library plus the nativelite json crate. MIT licensed.
nativelite-agsess v0.2.1
local agent session state, read from coding-agent transcripts
- A transcript line that never ends can no longer grow memory without bound. An unfinished trailing line is no longer buffered in full; a line longer than the tail cap is skipped and parsing resumes at the next newline.
- Interrupted tool calls no longer accumulate: unresolved
tool_useids are capped at 256. - The single-read tail cap is 4 MiB, down from 16 MiB. None of 604k measured Claude Code transcript lines exceeded 4 MiB, so no real event is skipped; the 16 MiB read was the first allocation to fail when a fleet's parallel builds exhausted system memory.
See the CHANGELOG.

nativelite-agsess v0.2.0
local agent session state, read from coding-agent transcripts
- Added
AgentSession::awaiting_tool(): whether the transcript ends on atool_usestill awaiting its result (a running tool, or a question / permission / plan-approval dialog). Unlikederive_status, it never decays toIdlewith time, so a consumer that types into a pane can tell an open dialog from a genuinely idle prompt.
