Raiding
Raid dens are placed into the world via newly generated chunks. See Raid Den Spawning for more details.
The first person to find and enter the raid den becomes the host. Any subsequent players wanting to join send the host a join request, where the host can then approve or deny their join requests.
The maximum number of players that can join a raid can be set in the config.
Pressing R at the raid boss will start a raid battle between the raid boss and the player. All players will be in their own 1v1 against the raid boss, but the boss's HP is shared across the party.
Cheers are special items that can drop from Tier 3+ raids. Each cheer has its own unique effect that triggers for the ENTIRE party.
- Attack Cheer: Increase all party member's Atk and Sp Atk by 50%
- Defense Cheer: Increase all party member's Def and Sp Def by 50%
- Heal Cheer: Heal all party members by 50% of their HP and cure all status conditions
Each player can only use a configurable amount of cheers per raid battle.
When the raid boss is defeated, players will have the option to catch the raid boss, or pass. Raid bosses also have an option to not be catchable, meaning players will be forced to pass.
When catching the raid boss, the player will need to be holding the Pokeball.
Players will also receive a Raid Pouch upon victory, which contains bonus rewards for completing the raid. For reward customisations, see Loot & Loot Tables.
If you have fainted to the raid boss you won't be able to rejoin but don't worry, as long as the party clears you will still be able to receive all the rewards!
By default, players cannot break, place or interact with blocks other than the raid crystal, as well as a couple gravestone mods. You can modify this by adding a block to the cobblemonraiddens:can_interact block tag, which allows interactions with that block.
