gocode v0.14.0 adds native workspace replacement. Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+H opens its field; Preview verifies complete current search results and displays before/after values. Replace all adopts the reviewed buffer batch and saves each file through the existing background actor. Unsaved source, Unicode/UTF-16 coordinates, LF/CRLF and older undo history are preserved.

Public godesktop v0.8.0 prepares immutable editor transactions off the UI thread. Before applying, workers check every expected disk revision; UI checks document identity/version/caret, including after open hooks. Query changes, edits, reopened documents and a different preview arriving during a captured click reject stale work. Late save conflicts preserve dirty replacements and external bytes with a visible unsaved count. Disk saves are per-file transactions, not filesystem-wide atomicity.

The new native gate types actual queries/captures/replacements, verifies red/green completed GPU pixels, modifies an owned disk file to prove rejection, re-previews and saves two real files, then uses blank-editor click and native Undo. The blank-area focus bug found by this gate is fixed. Node JavaScript capture oracles, held-receipt race/model tests and Windows console/GUI plus Mac Intel/ARM normal/1.5/2 acceptance accompany existing search, actual GiB browsing, tabs, VSIX, LSP, terminal and installer checks.

Preview limits are 128 matched files, 5,000 results, 8 MiB source/output per file and 64 MiB aggregate source/output. Large-file browsing remains read-only. Full JS/PCRE2 replacement compatibility, global workspace undo, individual/file controls, complete diff/provider/encoding/multi-root, SCM/DAP and full VS Code/GPUI/official Copilot VSIX parity remain open.
