gocode v0.15.0 adds grouped workspace undo and redo for replacement. Ctrl/Cmd+Z offers Undo in N Files, Undo this File and Cancel; Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y redoes a valid group. Newer edits or closed/reopened members split to the current file and preserve other documents. Earlier local history, UTF-16/CRLF selection and saved revisions remain intact.

Public godesktop v0.9.0 prepares genuine undo/redo stack transitions from immutable history snapshots. One dedicated bounded worker computes prospective text; complete UI preflight validates every document identity, version, caret, revision and history stack before committing the entire batch. Callbacks follow all commits. Changed or expired groups and stale worker/modal results cannot overwrite newer edits. Undo/redo never writes disk; explicit saves retain external hash-conflict protection. Groups retain only bounded metadata and do not pin closed document text.

The native replacement gate now clicks actual Cancel/All/current-file controls, checks completed modal GPU text/button pixels, undoes both files and redoes through native shortcuts. Held-receipt race tests cover newer text/carets, reopened identities, group expiry, modal changes, shutdown, atomic notifications, real external bytes and saved history. Windows console/GUI and Mac Intel/ARM normal/1.5/2 acceptance accompany existing search, actual GiB browsing, tabs, VSIX, recovered LSP, highlighted terminal and installer gates. Publication requires successful exact-source CI and reuses its tested packages.

Workspace history retains at most 32 groups and 128 members per group. Preview limits remain 5,000 results, 8 MiB source/output per file and 64 MiB aggregate source/output; large-file browsing stays read-only. History across closed resources, compound/provider undo, full JS/PCRE2, individual replacement controls, complete diff/encoding/multi-root, SCM/DAP and full VS Code/GPUI/official Copilot VSIX parity remain open. Copilot follows the accepted official SDK/Language Server route while VSIX compatibility expands. Exact source, release, package and installed evidence belongs in agent docs/status.md.
