Novum Xenium is an improvement fork of Odysseus. Upstream attribution and licenses remain included.

  • Reopening active chats restores current reasoning in its own live, collapsible panel, with working keyboard controls and the saved hide-thinking preference.
  • Recoverable inactive-tab interruptions use a neutral, accessible status rather than red failure text.
  • Mobile composer controls share the correct touch height, keeping Agent/Chat labels centered. Older chats are included after server restarts instead of stopping at the first 100.
  • Media has explicit fullscreen, retry and original-link controls. Streaming and reopening preserve existing players; Workspace includes a Media tab and a resizable desktop panel.
  • Browser and desktop preview captures have private seven-day history. Previously discarded screenshots cannot be recovered; remote media itself is not cached for a week.
  • Persona controls and model throughput labels are clearer. Managed model defaults use 32,768 tokens and retain zVram settings.
  • Linux desktop includes an authenticated local alarm bridge with bounded playback and volume restoration. No alarm is armed by installing this update.
  • Android supports native video fullscreen with Back navigation. Self-hosted notifications remain optional, with no Firebase or external push account.

Install the Android APK over the existing app to retain its data. Backend and web changes require the updated server checkout; updating a companion app alone does not update a running backend.

Validation: Linux and Windows desktop build/test CI passed. Android build, unit tests and lint passed; the signed APK matches the existing certificate, has version code 6, and passes v2/v3 signatures and 16 KB alignment checks. Asset checksums and the Hub manifest were verified. Full server CI passed, including Python tests and Python/JavaScript syntax checks; the final Trivy image scan also passed. Headless browser checks cover phone widths, landscape, larger labels, reopening active reasoning, keyboard controls and preserved media. Native video fullscreen was exercised in an isolated Android emulator. Physical-phone behavior and a real Windows desktop session remain unverified.
