  • feat!: remove set_force from the public API (#60) (5b7da89)

BREAKING CHANGES

  • LiteGrip.set_force is gone. A held force is only
meaningful against something, and the method had no way to tell that there
was nothing there: called on an empty gripper it drove the jaws at up to
692 mm/s and 0.25 Nm into the mechanical stop, 7.19 mm past the
    closed-side calibrated limit, with a measured peak of 25.2 N against a
    5 N setpoint. To press with a force, use grasp(force_n, hold_s), which
closes onto the object first and is the only path that now streams
    feed-forward torque frames.
