GEVR Linux build (alpha) — flat only

Early Linux test build for monitor / Steam Deck. Flat only: no VR, no headset, no OpenXR.

Bring your own USA GoldenEye ROM. This archive has no ROM and no HD pack.

Download: GEVR-Linux-alpha1-flat-x86_64.tar.gz

Unpack, then:
chmod +x goldeneye gevr_prepare run-gevr.sh
./run-gevr.sh /path/to/your-usa.z64

Needs SDL2, OpenGL 2.1, and glibc 2.34+ (Ubuntu 22.04, current SteamOS, and newer). Ubuntu 20.04 will not run it.

Known alpha limits: title menu backdrop is blank; this is not a VR build.

Windows Latest stays vr456.1. Update will not offer this build.
