This is the next Latest download. It is not a prerelease.

What is new

  • Monitor Off blanks the mirror.
  • Chest and magazine-grip reload.
  • Mines in the hand.
  • Weapon pictures on the lifting hand.
  • Quieter VR rendering.
  • The Janus crowd stops respawning.
  • Sniper: a green dot, shots go along the dot, zoom is on the stick, and there is no red aimer on the right-hand sniper.
  • Ammo digits on the grip.
  • Hip holster, and empty guns stay in the hand.
  • A swing uses the held weapon.
  • Bullet spray stays.
  • Rockets stay on the gun.

Bring your own USA GoldenEye ROM. This zip does not include a ROM or an HD texture pack. Put PNG packs in hdtextures\GOLDENEYE next to goldeneye.exe. GOLDENEYE_HIRESTEXTURES.hts is the wrong file.

Play
Launch with Start-GEVR.bat. Do not double-click goldeneye.exe.
Open GevrRomStarter and click Update to get this build.

First launch
The ship stamp is vr454. The first launch rebuilds the image cache once from your own ROM.
