Notebot 1.3.0
- Any AI key now works: Google Gemini (still the recommendation — its free tier is the best deal), Anthropic Claude, or OpenAI. One key field in setup and in the gear menu; Notebot reads which company a key belongs to. A paid key shows today's spend in dollars, and if it runs out of credit Notebot falls back to your Gemini key and says so on the note.
- With a Claude key, notes are written in one pass by Claude Opus; the Done line names what it cost.
- Homework next to a lecture: a short PDF of exercises no longer flattens the lecture note. Each exercise is solved by code, twice — when the two answers agree you get a worked card, otherwise the note keeps the question and says why it was left unanswered. No made-up numbers.
- A table of values the lecture does not show (one an AI wrote from memory) is removed rather than kept, with a line pointing at the slide.
- Smaller: a picture the AI cannot read is refused in plain words; the Done line reports how many exercises were worked.
- Not yet tried live: OpenAI keys — written from OpenAI's documentation; tell me if yours misbehaves.

First time here? The install guide covers both platforms. Each installer ships a .sig signature that Notebot verifies before it installs an update, and refuses anything that does not match.
