v0.26.0 — Closing a session properly

A new skill for closing a session properly, so what it worked out survives into the next one instead of leaving with it.

Install

Linux and macOS

tar -xzf loadout-0.26.0-linux-x64.tar.gz
./install.sh
loadout setup

install.sh verifies the SHA-256 before extracting anything, installs to
~/.local/bin, and needs no root. On macOS it also clears the download
quarantine from the installed binary.

Windows

msiexec /i loadout-0.26.0-win-x64.msi
loadout setup

Per-user, no elevation, and puts loadout on your PATH. Or take the zip and
place loadout.exe wherever you like.

There is a .deb and an .rpm below too.

The small print

Self-contained builds — no .NET installation required. Verify any download
against SHA256SUMS.

Built for Windows, Linux and macOS on x64, and Windows and Linux on arm64. The
arm64 binaries are cross-compiled, though the test suite runs on arm64
machines. macOS packages are not signed or notarised.
