v1.2.0 - D3D9 support

FeedKit now covers Direct3D 9 games end to end. Tick the new "D3D9 game - install the dgVoodoo2 translation" option and FeedKit:

  • installs the latest dgVoodoo2 release (fetched fresh from GitHub) as the D3D9 -> D3D11 translation layer,
  • pre-configures it for DLSS5-Feeder (OutputAPI=d3d11_fl11_0, VideoCard=internal3D, VRAM=1024, pass-through disabled),
  • handles engines that resolve their renderer DLLs from subfolders (Source engine games like Portal 2 / Codename CURE get the full stack mirrored into bin\ via hardlinks), and
  • keeps uninstall clean: dgVoodoo files and every config change are recorded and reverted.

Native D3D10/11/12 and Vulkan flows are unchanged. Verified working on TrackMania Nations Forever (native D3D9), Codename CURE and Portal 2 (Source D3D9, 32-bit).

Also in this build (since v1.1.3)

  • Standard ReShade shader headers (ReShade.fxh etc.) are installed automatically - fixes "could not open included file 'ReShade.fxh'".
  • Effect/texture search paths are now fully enforced - fixes both the malformed **\** paths ReShade Setup 6.8 writes (error 123, "no effect files found") and ReShade's runtime default (.\) overwriting them, which left the effects list empty.
  • Fixes install records not loading on uninstall ("no FeedKit install record found").
  • Handles games where ReShade installs into a subfolder instead of next to the exe.

Reminder

Single-player only (ReShade add-ons can trip anti-cheat). First install downloads ~230 MB from upstream. After installing on D3D9 games, the dgVoodoo watermark in a corner confirms the translation is active.
