FeedKit v1.3.1 - D3D9 fix for Source engine games
v1.3.1 - D3D9 fix for Source engine games (Portal 2, Codename CURE, etc.)
Fixes D3D9 installs on engines that load their renderer DLLs from a subfolder (Source engine games: bin\).
What was wrong: Source engines resolve d3d9.dll from bin\ via an altered DLL search path (the game folder is skipped), while the dxgi.dll that ReShade needs is pulled through the standard search, which finds the game folder first and skips bin\. A single-location install could therefore load dgVoodoo but never ReShade - or the reverse.
The fix: D3D9 installs now populate both the game folder and bin\ (the bin\ copies are hardlinks - no extra disk space), so whichever resolution order the engine uses finds the full stack. Verified working on Portal 2 and Codename CURE (Source, 32-bit D3D9) and TrackMania Nations Forever (native D3D9).
Also includes (since v1.2.0)
- OpenGL support - new checkbox, ReShade installs as
opengl32.dll; the Feeder handles GL-to-D3D12 interop. The game must run on the NVIDIA GPU (hybrid graphics: force it in Windows Settings > Display > Graphics). - Standard ReShade shader headers (
ReShade.fxhetc.) installed automatically. - Effect/texture search paths fully enforced (fixes ReShade Setup 6.8's malformed
**\**globs and the runtime.\default that left the effects list empty). - Fixed failed half-installs making follow-up installs silently skip ReShade.
Reminder
Single-player only (ReShade add-ons can trip anti-cheat). First install downloads ~230 MB from upstream.

FeedKit v1.3.0 - OpenGL support
v1.3.0 - OpenGL support
FeedKit now covers OpenGL games. Tick the new "OpenGL game - install ReShade as opengl32.dll" option (mutually exclusive with the D3D9 option) and FeedKit installs ReShade as a local opengl32.dll plus the full DLSS5-Feeder stack - the Feeder handles the OpenGL-to-D3D12 interop internally.
- 64-bit and 32-bit OpenGL games supported (32-bit uses the
host64\sidecar flow). - Requires the game to run on the NVIDIA GPU - OpenGL interop needs it. On hybrid graphics (laptops), force the game onto the NVIDIA GPU via Windows Settings > Display > Graphics, otherwise the feed disables itself.
Also fixed in this release
- The ReShade setup step is now skipped/attempted based on the actual proxy DLL (
dxgi.dll/opengl32.dll) being present, so failed half-installs no longer make follow-up installs silently skip ReShade. - Effect/texture search paths are fully enforced: malformed
**\**globs from ReShade Setup 6.8 (error 123) and ReShade's runtime default (.\, empty effects list) are both corrected automatically, with the originals recorded for uninstall.
Reminder
Single-player only (ReShade add-ons can trip anti-cheat). First install downloads ~230 MB from upstream.

FeedKit v1.2.0 - D3D9 support
v1.2.0 - D3D9 support
FeedKit now covers Direct3D 9 games end to end. Tick the new "D3D9 game - install the dgVoodoo2 translation" option and FeedKit:
- installs the latest dgVoodoo2 release (fetched fresh from GitHub) as the D3D9 -> D3D11 translation layer,
- pre-configures it for DLSS5-Feeder (
OutputAPI=d3d11_fl11_0,VideoCard=internal3D,VRAM=1024, pass-through disabled), - handles engines that resolve their renderer DLLs from subfolders (Source engine games like Portal 2 / Codename CURE get the full stack mirrored into
bin\via hardlinks), and - keeps uninstall clean: dgVoodoo files and every config change are recorded and reverted.
Native D3D10/11/12 and Vulkan flows are unchanged. Verified working on TrackMania Nations Forever (native D3D9), Codename CURE and Portal 2 (Source D3D9, 32-bit).
Also in this build (since v1.1.3)
- Standard ReShade shader headers (
ReShade.fxhetc.) are installed automatically - fixes "could not open included file 'ReShade.fxh'". - Effect/texture search paths are now fully enforced - fixes both the malformed
**\**paths ReShade Setup 6.8 writes (error 123, "no effect files found") and ReShade's runtime default (.\) overwriting them, which left the effects list empty. - Fixes install records not loading on uninstall ("no FeedKit install record found").
- Handles games where ReShade installs into a subfolder instead of next to the exe.
Reminder
Single-player only (ReShade add-ons can trip anti-cheat). First install downloads ~230 MB from upstream. After installing on D3D9 games, the dgVoodoo watermark in a corner confirms the translation is active.
