v1.3.1 - D3D9 fix for Source engine games (Portal 2, Codename CURE, etc.)

Fixes D3D9 installs on engines that load their renderer DLLs from a subfolder (Source engine games: bin\).

What was wrong: Source engines resolve d3d9.dll from bin\ via an altered DLL search path (the game folder is skipped), while the dxgi.dll that ReShade needs is pulled through the standard search, which finds the game folder first and skips bin\. A single-location install could therefore load dgVoodoo but never ReShade - or the reverse.

The fix: D3D9 installs now populate both the game folder and bin\ (the bin\ copies are hardlinks - no extra disk space), so whichever resolution order the engine uses finds the full stack. Verified working on Portal 2 and Codename CURE (Source, 32-bit D3D9) and TrackMania Nations Forever (native D3D9).

Also includes (since v1.2.0)

  • OpenGL support - new checkbox, ReShade installs as opengl32.dll; the Feeder handles GL-to-D3D12 interop. The game must run on the NVIDIA GPU (hybrid graphics: force it in Windows Settings > Display > Graphics).
  • Standard ReShade shader headers (ReShade.fxh etc.) installed automatically.
  • Effect/texture search paths fully enforced (fixes ReShade Setup 6.8's malformed **\** globs and the runtime .\ default that left the effects list empty).
  • Fixed failed half-installs making follow-up installs silently skip ReShade.

Reminder

Single-player only (ReShade add-ons can trip anti-cheat). First install downloads ~230 MB from upstream.
