nju aj ti OVERKLOKING mod for the ButterBot robot. Flash together with the controller mod v3.

  • Talkie Toaster and Yoda voices (Settings → VOICE) and menu items
  • Yoda mode: sentences turned around – "I will remember" becomes "Remember, I will"
  • Talkie Toaster mode: idle comments, facts, jokes and poke reactions become toast offers
  • More HAL 9000 lines, refreshed OVERKLOKING lines
  • Bigger app partition (+192 KB)

⚠️ v3 changes the partition table – when upgrading from v1/v2, flash all partitions once (see Build & flash). Settings, owner face and IR codes are kept. Don't flash the robot with plain idf.py flash.

Build from source with ESP-IDF 5.5.3. Full change list: NUIT-CHANGES.md.

No ESP-IDF needed – only Python and pip install esptool. Step-by-step: Flash without building.

  • ButterBot-OVERKLOKING-v3-robot-full.bin – one file, flash at 0x0. Simplest, but erases saved settings, owner face and IR codes.
  • ButterBot-OVERKLOKING-v3-robot-parts.zip – keeps settings; flash with @flash_args, instructions in FLASH.txt.
  • SHA256SUMS-robot.txt – checksums.
