nju aj ti OVERKLOKING mod for the ButterBot controller. Flash together with the robot mod v3.

  • Settings → VOICE: TALKIE TOASTER and YODA, DARTH VADER shown in full, wider VOICE box
  • Menu items TALKIE TOASTER and YODA
  • Long quotes (Ultron, Daisy) shown in full, scrolling along with the robot
  • Yoda / Talkie Toaster modes change the lines on the controller too
  • Menu subtitles keep their padding when selected

⚠️ The robot must not be flashed with plain idf.py flash – see Build & flash in the robot repo.

Build from source with ESP-IDF 5.5.3. Full change list: NUIT-CHANGES.md.

No ESP-IDF needed – only Python and pip install esptool. Step-by-step: Flash without building.

  • ButterBot-OVERKLOKING-v3-controller-full.bin – one file, flash at 0x0. Simplest, but resets the controller's settings.
  • ButterBot-OVERKLOKING-v3-controller-parts.zip – keeps settings; flash with @flash_args, instructions in FLASH.txt.
  • SHA256SUMS-controller.txt – checksums.
