Early public beta — runtime security

GrokBot Meter is an unofficial menu-bar companion for Grok Bot on macOS. Tiny tray app: weekly usage %, today, and reset timing — no Dock clutter.

Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of xAI, Cursor, or Apple. Uses official Grok Bot meters only.

What's new in 0.3.1

  • Runtime dependencies. Electron 44.5.1, electron-builder 26, and React 19.3. npm audit reports 0 vulnerabilities.
  • macOS 13+ required. Electron 44 needs macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. Packaging sets minimumSystemVersion to 13.0.
  • Signing unchanged. Builds stay ad-hoc signed and are not notarized. First launch still needs the one-time Gatekeeper approval.
  • Coffee theme unchanged.

Download (Apple Silicon)

Open the DMG and drag GrokBot Meter to Applications. Requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or later on Apple Silicon. Builds are ad-hoc signed but not notarized, so macOS asks you to approve the app once. See First launch.
