Vulkan

[ogmkp]

This software is excellent. But when are you going to switch it to Vulkan so it will be truly portable in terms of graphics instead or this old opengl?

Thank you for all for your hard work.

While there has been discussion and research around this topic, there are no current plans to switch to Vulkan.

This software deserves it. I know it takes effort, but once it’s done, it’ll be a joy. It was written back when Vulkan had already been written, but there wasn’t much confidence in it yet. It is a powerful lowend API today, go ahead. Thanks in advance.

And thank you, @Fenrirthviti, for keeping track of all the tickets, you've been doing a great job all these years.
