PowerContext 1.0.0 RC1 is the first release candidate for 1.0.0, intended to validate context capture, retrieval,
and handoff in real work. This is a pre-release for testing the Server, clients, and Agent integrations together.

Highlights

• Build Memory around topics: extract and maintain Topic Memory from Sources, with background Artifact processing to keep context up to date.
• Configure the context Agents receive: assemble Prepared Context text with configurable policies through LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic AI, and supported Agent integrations.
• Manage reusable context assets: organize Prompts and Profiles within Scopes, apply unified tags to Artifacts and Memory Entries, and discover Scopes and Sources.
• Start locally with fewer requirements: save Sources and explicit Memory without a model by default, and load local environment files when starting the Server. Automatic extraction and vector retrieval still require their inference services.
• Improve Agent integrations: add MiniMax support, improve DSH configuration diagnostics and installation guidance, and fix MCP authorization headers for Claude Code.
• Strengthen data access and package handling: fix revoked Scope contributions, raw Skill ZIP path validation, and conditional Artifact reads.
• Follow task-oriented documentation: use bilingual installation, configuration, Memory, Artifact, and Handoff guides alongside guided Jupyter tutorials.

Install and verify

powercontext --version should print 1.0.0rc1. The Git tag is powercontext-v1.0.0rc1; the PyPI package version
is 1.0.0rc1. Use the same Git tag for other Agent integrations. Normal upgrades generally exclude pre-releases,
so select the RC version explicitly.

Upgrade notes

• The Dashboard is now an optional personal content viewer, disabled by default. Set POWERCONTEXT_SERVER_DASHBOARD_ENABLED=true and configure authentication and access control as described in the installation guide to enable it.
• Upgrade the Server, clients, and Agent integrations together. Restart Agent sessions after updating plugins.
• Back up databases and configuration before upgrading an existing deployment, then validate persistence, permissions, Memory retrieval, and Handoff in a test environment.

• 收紧数据访问与包处理边界：修复撤销权限后的 Scope 上下文贡献、Skill ZIP 路径校验及 Artifact 读取问题。
• 按使用流程组织文档：提供从安装、配置到 Memory、Artifact、Handoff 的中英文操作指南与 Jupyter 教程。

powercontext --version 应输出 1.0.0rc1。Git tag 为 powercontext-v1.0.0rc1，PyPI 包版本为 1.0.0rc1。
其他 Agent 集成也应使用相同 Git tag。普通升级通常不会选择预发布版本，请显式指定 RC 版本号。

升级说明

• Dashboard 改为默认关闭的个人内容查看器。需要启用时，设置 POWERCONTEXT_SERVER_DASHBOARD_ENABLED=true，并按安装文档配置认证与访问控制。
• Server、客户端和 Agent 集成应一起升级；更新插件后重启 Agent 会话。
• 升级现有部署前备份数据库与配置，并在测试环境中验证持久化、权限、Memory 检索和 Handoff。
