o7 Debrief

o7 Debrief reaches 1.0. Since 0.6.0 this release makes your debriefs cover a whole play session correctly, finally delivers the automatic debrief the tray always promised and sharpens how your ship is reported.

What's new

  • Your whole session, start to finish. A debrief now covers your entire play session, from launch through to when you quit the game, even if you dipped out to the main menu and back partway through. A single run is reported as one session rather than just its final leg.
  • Genuinely automatic on shutdown. Leave o7 Debrief running in the tray and it writes your debrief by itself the moment you close the game, opening the finished report ready to read. It is the game shutting down that triggers this; quitting o7 Debrief itself never does.
  • Sharper ship reporting. The header's ship type and name now follow a mid-session ship swap and resolve correctly however the journal cases its ship names, so the right hull and the right name always show.

  • Every figure traces back to a real journal entry, so nothing is estimated, inferred or padded.
  • Local-first as ever: no cloud, no account, no telemetry and no administrator rights to install.
  • Missed capturing a session live? o7 Debrief can still read your last session or your full history whenever you like.
