v0.6.4
Changes
- System tray: added 'Check for Updates' menu item
- Language selection now persists across restarts
- Window appears on top of other apps when shown from tray
- Fixed sidecar not starting on .deb installs (was only checking for AppImage env)
v0.6.2
.deb package support
- Updater detects install type and downloads the right format

pkexec dpkg -i(system password prompt, like Chrome) - AppImage still available as universal fallback for other distros
- Updated README with download instructions for both formats
v0.6.1
Fix updater restart
- Restart script now waits for old process to fully exit (PID polling) before launching new AppImage
- Prevents FUSE mount caching from serving stale binary after update
- Kills sidecar process during restart to avoid port conflicts
- Launches new instance via setsid for clean session
Talkye Scriber v0.6.0
Fix: removed speech-rate heuristic (Layer 6) that was blocking 90% of real speech. The heuristic used whisper processing time instead of audio duration, causing all normal dictation to be filtered as hallucination on fast GPUs.
Talkye Scriber v0.5.9
- Robust anti-hallucination filter (7 layers: audio energy gate, expanded phrase DB in 15+ languages, substring/regex matching, repetition detection, speech-rate heuristics)
- File-lock single instance guard (replaces fragile PID check)
- Fixed updater restart (helper script prevents FUSE cache stale issue)
- Fixed build script (read-only Python files blocked rm -rf)
