Allow for continuing sessions from the CLI in the App Vice/Versa

What feature would you like to see?

It'd be really nice to switch between the cli and the app for a single session. Right now (to my current understanding) you technically could continue a session created in the app in the cli if you dig around hard enough to find the session id, but you can't create a session in the cli and then continue in the app.

Even if it required using the bundled codex exec that comes bundled with the app, that'd be very convenient from a user perspective, and for some use cases of mine allow for different kinds of scripting/kicking off codex sessions programmatically, and continuing them in the app. Even better if you could do so in a worktree and have it associated with the proper project.

Sessions are shared across all client surfaces, so you can resume a session created in the CLI in the IDE extension or app, or any combination thereof. What tends to break this (and what I suspect you're hitting) is if you use worktrees in the app. If you request a new local worktree in the app, it creates a new directory for that worktree and associates the session with that directory. If you then start the CLI from the original directory and attempt to resume the session, it won't appear. Does that explain the behavior you're seeing?

Ya I noticed that cli sessions are now appearing in the app. Must not have been looking close enough. And yes worktrees not made in the app do not appear.
