Claude has a slash command /clear to clear conversation history, is there an equivalent?

I end up quitting & starting codex again, there must be something more efficient. Thanks

Not sure if this is what Olimart meant, however, /clear not only starts a new conversation but also removes all previous lines in the console, making it look fresh again. I kind of miss this feature too.

/new helps for starting fresh, but I still miss a real way to clean up old history/threads after the fact. I ended up making a small local workaround for that: https://github.com/hanityx/threadlens

@hanityx, we recently added /clear as a way to both clear the terminal and start a new thread.
