Codex App: prompt input line spacing is too tight for multi-line text #35386

Description

@Lady-Lin

Summary

The Codex App prompt/composer input box uses line spacing that is too tight when text wraps across multiple lines. Adjacent lines appear to run into each other, which makes prompts harder to read and review before sending.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the Codex App and focus the prompt input box.
  2. Type or paste a multi-line prompt, or enter a long paragraph that wraps onto several lines.
  3. Observe the vertical spacing between the wrapped lines.

Actual behavior

The line height/line spacing appears too small. Text from neighboring lines looks visually stuck together, especially in long prompts or prompts containing punctuation and code. This makes the input difficult to scan.

Expected behavior

Use a more comfortable line height in the prompt/composer so each wrapped line is visually distinct and easy to read. The spacing should be consistent for typed text, pasted text, and mixed content.

Additional information

  • Surface: Codex App desktop prompt/composer input box
  • Platform/version: not recorded
  • This is a visual/readability issue; no functional input loss was observed.
