What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
26.721.41059
What subscription do you have?
Plus, but I cannot login
What platform is your computer?
Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26100.0 x64
What issue are you seeing?
The ChatGPT Windows app appears to be stuck in an invalid login state.
In the bottom-left corner, where my ChatGPT account name would normally appear, the username is shown as “openrouter”. This is not my account name, and I am unable to sign in to my actual ChatGPT account.
Selecting File → Log out causes the window to briefly flash or refresh, but the app remains logged in as “openrouter.” No login screen is shown.
Resetting, reinstalling, and clearing the app did not resolve the issue.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
- Open the ChatGPT Windows app.
- Observe that the bottom-left account area displays “openrouter.”
- Open File → Log out.
- The screen briefly flashes.
- The app returns to the same state and still displays “openrouter.”
