What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
26.721.41059
What subscription do you have?
Pro
What platform is your computer?
Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 x64
What issue are you seeing?
I've noticed that when i start Codex desktop, it will always show the blue 'task completed' circle after each visible task item in the Projects tree view of the left menu panel. I had already opened and assessed the result of these tasks before, so these blue circles really shouldn't show. The erroneous blue circles are not displayed for task items that are out of view and only visible when you click the 'Show more' link. Here's a screenshot.
All of these tasks have run locally on my computer, i do not use cloud tasks. The blue circles do correctly dissappear when i open the task windows.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Simply running a task, waiting for the blue circle to appear, indicating that it finished it task. Then open the task which should make the blue circle disappear. Then simply shutdown the Codex desktop app by closing the window and also completely ending the codex process (codex will still run in the background even when you closed the application window). If you then start the Codex application again, it should show a blue circle for any of the last tasks that are directly visible in the projects tree.
What is the expected behavior?
Don't show these circles for tasks that don't have any unreviewed/unseen task results in them.
