What feature would you like to see?
Add a desktop notification policy that uses chat pin state as an explicit notification subscription.
Suggested setting: Notify for pinned chats only.
When enabled:
- Pinned chats keep the configured turn-completion notification behavior.
- Unpinned chats suppress routine successful turn-completion notifications and completion badges.
- Failures, permission requests, and direct questions that require user input may still surface so important attention states are not lost.
- Pinning or unpinning a chat updates the policy immediately.
- The behavior applies consistently to normal chats, delegated side threads, and sub-threads.
This would let users pin the small set of important conversations they actively want to follow while allowing many background conversations to complete quietly.
Additional information
The current desktop notification controls are global: turn-completion alerts can appear never, only while the app is in the background, or always. Activity view can filter chats by Pinned, but that filter does not control system notifications.

This is related to, but broader than, #33100. That issue requests silent successful runs for recurring automations; this request proposes a general pin-state policy for all desktop chats and sub-threads.
A useful acceptance criterion would be that a successful completion in an unpinned chat produces no desktop alert or completion badge, while a pinned chat continues to follow the existing notification setting.
