v3.5.2

GeoLibre v3.5.2 is a maintenance release that opens TMS-style {-y} tile URLs, keeps the saved service library in sync with the Browser pane, and lets the Python package's blocking methods run outside Jupyter. It also fixes a handful of rough edges in NASA Earthdata imagery, raster tool results, 3D Tiles samples, review comments, and pixel inspection. It brings together 15 pull requests from 3 contributors, 1 of them contributing for the first time. Thank you to everyone who helped!

Highlights

• {-y} tile URLs: XYZ layers now accept the TMS-style {-y} row placeholder, in a tile URL or inside a TileJSON, and flip the row the way QGIS does, so services such as Night Earth load upright. The flip also applies to offline tile downloads and every map renderer. See Adding data.
• A saved service library that stays in sync: a service saved from an Add Data dialog shows up in the Browser pane right away, without a page refresh. Built-in service presets can now be deleted too, and a Restore link brings them back. See Adding data.
• Python outside Jupyter: blocking methods such as fly_to(), get_center(), identify(), and to_image() now work from a worker thread outside a Jupyter kernel, for example in a Shiny for Python app, and explain clearly what to do when called from a running event loop. See Python.
• Fixes: NASA Earthdata (GIBS) layers whose advertised default date has no imagery fall back to the latest date that does; raster tool results no longer blend NoData into their overviews, so NDVI and other indices get a sensible auto stretch; picking a 3D Tiles sample names the layer after it; Directions and Reverse Geocode clicks no longer also open a review comment; and pixel inspection markers clear on Project → New or Open.
