Dragons Dogma 2

TheRazerMD edited this page Sep 25, 2026 · 14 revisions

Last Tested Version

v0.9.4

Filename

dxgi.dll

OS

Windows 11 24H2

GPU

Radeon RX 7900 XTX, 9070XT

Upscaler Inputs

DLSS 3.5 + DLSS-FG, FSR 3.0

FG-Settings

  • Nukem’s DLSSG

  • DLSSG via SL → FSR-FG/XeFG

Known Issues

  • DLSS preset scaling seems to be completely random - DD2 UP in-game is P, P is UQ, B is Q, Q is B (e.g. _if you want Quality as 1.5 scaling, you need to select Balanced in-game - verifiable through Opti overlay in the bottom left_)

    • With the Arise Again updates, presets are now only shifted up by one, but with Opti 0.9.5+ quirk presets are now fixed

    • FSR 3.0 presets are completely fine

Notes

  • Requires REFramework to work

    • Also recommended to change REF overlay’s shortcut to Delete or any other button in Configuration - Menu key as both REF and Opti use Insert as the default shortcut key

    • Download - REF Nightly (find the appropriate game file under Assets)

  • INSTALL METHOD

    • Download REFramework

    • Extract REFramework and OptiScaler files to the game folder

    • Keep REFramework as default dinput8.dll

    • Either install OptiScaler as dxgi.dll or manually rename OptiScaler.dll to dxgi.dll

    • Set Dxgi=false if on AMD/Intel as SL Spoof already unlocks everything DLSS related (Opti 0.9 already applies this)

    • Folder structure example

  • Optionally, SpecialK worked also by downloading it from SK Github, renaming SpecialK64.dll to dxgi.dll (same name as OptiScaler) and putting it in a plugins folder

  • Guide for setting it up on Linux if no menus - Linux guide
