Known Issues

  • Spoofing is disabled by default as it causes rendering artifacts/crashes. Use FSR2 inputs on DX12 and DLSS inputs on Vulkan. To use DLSS inputs without spoofing:

  • ScripthookRDR2 V2’s overlay might cause crashes with XeFG. To fix that, set this in ScriptHookConfig.ini (located in the game’s folder):

    [Interface]
    Enable = false

    [Overlay]
    Enable = false

  • HUDFix causes HUD flickering. Turn on Vsync in-game (and disable from other sources) to reduce it.

  • Disabling Reflex with fakenvapi present results in unstable frame rates on Nvidia; recommended to remove fakenvapi.dll/nvapi64.dll.

  • Enable Use Microsoft Detours API hooking in RTSS to avoid crashing on startup, also recommended to disable Inject NVIDIA Reflex latency markers. Read here for more info.

  • Changing to Fullscreen in the menu or through Alt + Enter causes the overlay to disappear until restarting with Vulkan.

Notes

  • DirectX 12 is recommended (required for OptiFG), Vulkan is problematic.

  • Compatible with Lenny’s Mod Loader, ScriptHookRDR2 V2

  • XeFG/FSR FG 4 are recommended outputs for OptiFG. Recommended to enable HUDFix for FSR FG 3.1.

  • If XeFG is hitting a Vsync framerate cap, then it requires setting OverrideVsync=true and ForceVsync=false in OptiScaler.ini
