API specifications updates

Postman updates

Postman collection added for Data APIs.

Postman samples added to the oracle-hospitality-property.postman_collection.json:

  • Added to Event Management the operation get eventChangesByDateTime
  • Added to Async APIs > Blocks the operation Block Recalculate Room Forecast
  • Added to the LOV the operation get States
  • Added the REPORT CONFIG collection
  • Added to Reservations > Post Reservation > post Reservation an example of adding the Travel Agent Profile
  • Added to the Cashiering the new operaiton Post ProFormaFolio

Enhancements Delivered in the Distribution REST API Sample Collection

Release 25.4 brings expanded coverage of Reservation, Shop, Content, and ARI workflows, along with new early-release capabilities. The updated Postman collection now includes new sample requests designed to accelerate partner development, clarify edge cases, and demonstrate new supported payload patterns.

1. Reservation API Enhancements (BOOK / RESERVATION)

New: Modify Reservation Scenarios

  • Full modification with comment update
  • Full modification with availability validation overlay

These additions illustrate complete end-to-end flows for reservation updates, including overlay processing and validation behaviors.

New: Early Release Reservation Samples
The collection now introduces the Distribution Reservation (EARLY RELEASE) API with four practical scenarios:

  • Basic reservation creation
  • Reservation with add-on packages
  • Standalone inventory item reservation
  • Reservation creation using Guest Profile ID

These samples help partners prepare for the upcoming unified reservation architecture.

2. Expanded Reservation Notification Scenarios (RESNOTIF)

25.4 adds new, highly requested guarantee and payment-type combinations:

  • Travel Agent Guaranteed (19) + Voucher Payment (3)
  • Company Guaranteed (29) + Direct Bill Payment (2)

And new capability samples:

  • Add-on packages priced per adult
  • Reservation Notification with OPERA Source / Origin codes

These samples provide clarity for downstream mappings and ensure reservation ingestion aligns with OPERA Cloud requirements.

3. Advanced Rate-Plan and Room-View Targeting in SHOP

New Search Behaviors

  • Rate-plan-type filtering for requested rate only
  • Range rules that guarantee Public rates are always returned
  • Combined Public + Negotiated rate-plan range logic

New Offer-Level Filtering

  • Targeting by specific OTA Room View Code
  • Targeting by specific rate plan codes

These examples demonstrate more realistic OTA-style search patterns and help validate multi-rate, multi-view scenarios.

4. Content API Expansion (CONTENT)

New: Retrieve Specific Rate Plan With Cancel Policy

A new request illustrates how to retrieve a single rate plan, including cancel policy, while supporting negotiated rate visibility.

5. New ARI Publication Scenarios (SPECIFICATIONS)

The ARI section has been enhanced with realistic publication payloads:

  • Tax Exclusive rate updates (amountBeforeTax)
  • Tax Inclusive rate updates (amountAfterTax)
  • Full Pattern LOS (FPLOS) – explicit pattern-based restriction example

These samples support certification, troubleshooting, and partner education for modern ARI behavior.
