WayFlow 26.3.0 is here! This release improves JSON Schema handling, adds configurable structured-output validation, enhances multi-agent tool calling, expands model support, and improves reliability when agents reach iteration limits.
What's new
Schemas & structured output
• Nested JSON Schema references are now resolved during descriptor conversion, while field-level metadata beside references is preserved.
• ObjectProperty now supports configurable JSON Schema additionalProperties, including allowing, rejecting, or validating additional fields.
• PromptTemplate and Agent now support optional strict structured-output validation.
Multi-agent & tool-calling workflows
• Swarm and ManagerWorkers now emit multiple independent tool calls as a single JSON array, improving parallel tool use.
• Agents that reach their iteration limit after tool execution now return a clear assistant response instead of exposing the tool result as the final answer. This behavior is preserved across Flow, OpenAI Responses, and A2A boundaries.
Models & serving integrations
• Added support for Gemma-4 models with native tool calling in OpenAICompatibleModel and VllmModel.
• OCIGenAIEmbeddingModel now supports both on-demand and dedicated OCI GenAI serving modes, with best-effort inference from dedicated endpoint OCIDs.
