Installation with Vortex

Before starting, you must enable support for the game. Open Vortex, go to the "Games" tab, search for Astroneer, and click "Manage". Vortex will prompt you to install a small extension to handle Astroneer mods; accept it.
Some Astroneer mods require UE4SS to function. The Astroneer extension for Vortex will download and install UE4SS automatically. You don't need to install it manually.
Click the "Vortex" button if exists or go to the "FILES" tab on the mod page and click the "Mod manager download" button.
📝 Note: Do not download the PAK version if it exists.
That version only contains a single .pak file specifically designed for "AstroModLoader Classic" and will not work for a manual installation.
